Description

International express small package service (150 lbs. and under) for the US federal government. Express service includes time-definite, door-to-door pick-up and delivery, transportation, in-transit visibility (ITV), PowerTrack participation and expedited customs processing and clearance of extremely urgent letters and small packages. Period of performance will be 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002 with two one-year options. Offeror must be a member of the Civil Reserve Air Fleet. Request for Proposal will be released on or about 2 April 2001. Projected date for Preproposal Conference is 19 April 2001. A preliminary Request for Proposal may be posted prior to release of the final RFP in order to provide an advance opportunity to review and identify questions. If a preliminary RFP is posted, questions may be submitted to the point of contact. Release of the final RFP does not reflect acceptance or denial of any comments provided prior to final RFP release.
