Description

B -- The US Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service, intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to the Colorado School of Mines for preparation of several sets of wet weldments produced with selected electrodes on typical steel plates used for the fabrication of aging offshore platforms. This project is co-sponsored by Minerals Management Service and PEMEX-Instituto Mexicano del Petroleo of Mexico City. Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. Authority for sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1. This is a synopsis of intent to award and no solicitation will be issued. Responsible sources who are interested in this procurement may respond by providing clear and convincing evidence of their capabilities and providing co-sponsorship with the Instituto Mexicano del Petroleo. All expressions of interest shall be emailed to anna.degurse@mms.gov by April 23, 2001 to be considered by the Government.
