Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency is contemplating award on a sole source basis to Pacific-Sierra Research Corporation, Arlington, VA, for changes to the material property services within the ongoing Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC) development within the HPAC 4.0 timelines. The award will be made on a sole-source basis to Pacific-Sierra Research because they are the only known company that possesses the level of knowledge and expertise related to the effort within the required timeframes. The proposed effort will encompass, but not be limited to the following tasks: 1) Edit HPAC 4.0 Material Files, 2)Adapt the CORBA materials service to the scaled-back IDL data structure, and 3) Develop a flexible Material Editor to serve both HPAC developers and knowledgeable users.
