Description

Solicitation SP0100-01-R-0030 is for various 8430 stock numbers; twenty two (22) orthopedic/special measurement footwear items to be delivered to the Defense Orthopedic Footwear Clinic, Boston, MA. specifications and drawings may avary. Itr is the Government's intent to award two Indefinite Delivery Type Contracts. The basic quantity to be purchased in an estimated 3680 pair maximum and one pair minimum. A one year term option with the same maximum/minimum quantities as the basic is included. Scheduled delivery period begins on or about 24 December 2001. Once solicitation has been issued (anticipated to be within the next 30 days), the closing date for receipt of proposals will be thirty (3) days from the solicitation issue date. These items are determined to be military unique and will not be purchased under the provisions of FAR Part 12. See numbered Note 26. This is a total set aside for small business firms. The Government plans to furnish the following materials: lasts, patterns, and miscellaneous parts as specified in the solicitation.
