Description

SOLICITATION NO. N68335-01-R-0201 AND ALL AMENDMENTS WILL NOT BE MAILED TO CONTRACTORS. 100% Small Business Setaside (NAICS Code 333994). The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR homepage located at http//www.navair.navy.mil Select "Business", then "Doing Business With Us", and "Open Solicitations". The solicitation is for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity firm fixed price contract for powder coating spray booths to be used as self-contained work environments while navy personnel apply powder coating to equipment. The booth will consist of lighting, dust collection apparatus, Hepa filtration with pulse cleaning and an electrical control panel. Minimum interior work dimension are to be 15' wide x 7.25' high x 9' deep. Power requirements shall be 460 V for the booth and 120 V for controls and lighting. This requirement shall be fulfilled by supply "commercial items" as defined in Section 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The procurement provides provisions for start-up and familiarization training on each booth and for ordering additional booths in calendar years 2001 through 2004. Submission of logistical support data will be required as part of the contract. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government technical, past experience, past performance and price considered.
