Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS), Columbus, OH intends to acquire air services to distribute approximately 2,600,000 oral rabies vaccine baits in Ohio and West Virginia in March 2001 and September 2001. The fishmeal polymer baits weigh approximately 23 grams and are 1 1/4" L X 3/4" W X 1 1/4" H. The coated sachet baits weight approximately 4 grams and are 2.25" L X 0.75" W X 0.125" H. Any vendors who feel they have the capability to perform this effort are encouraged to contact the Contracting Officer for a copy of the solicitation and specifications on the baits to be dispersed. There is a special dispersal machine that is required that presently is not available as Government Furnished Equipment and must be supplied by the awardee. This procurement is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 15. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB destination. Solicitation 60-M-APHIS-01 incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 97-21 and should be available about March 13, 2001.
