Description

The Nuclear Cities Initiative in the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration intends to issue a sole-source contract to the Moran Company, LLC, for financial and technical support services to support scientists in Russia's closed nuclear cites. The proposed effort involves: (1) training in required elements and characteristic of commercially viable projects; (2) the identification, selection and implementation of commercially viable projects; (3) researching and arranging financing for commercially viable projects; and (4) liaison and technical support. The cost reimbursement contract period of performance will be a thirty-six month base period, with two twelve month option periods. It is anticipated that a total of 3,000 person hours will be utilized over the 60 month period. The Moran Company, LLC is the only firm with the required specialized knowledge, business arrangements, data, skills, and experience to perform this effort within the required time.
