Description

Provide all architectural and engineering services necessary to design a project replacing FACE, Building 77 and 69 Main Panel at the James H. Quillen, VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tennessee. Work includes preliminary and final contract drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction period services. Scope involves installation of new 4020-8001 Simplex 3-wire multiplex panel, Simplex map net cards and devices for Buildings 77 and 69. Installation of panel must interface with the Domiciliary (Bldg. 160), Hospital (Bldg. 200) and Nursing Home Care Unit (Bldg. 162) Simplex panels. This Scope will include demolition, general construction, and electrical. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is not a request for proposals. A/E interview criteria and short-list criteria may be found at www.va.gov/facmgt/ae/ae_sel.asp. Contractor shall carry professional liability insurance. Interested firms should submit up-to-date SF 254 and SF 255 by the response date. The total area of consideration is restricted to a 100-mile radius of the James H. Quillen, VA Medical Center.
