Description

The National Park Service (NPS) will be soliciting proposals for a one year study to acuire baseline inventory data and to develop a monitoring protocol for indicator flora and fauna associated with old farm fields in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Michigan. The NPS expects that grassland birds associated with these fields will be the focus of the study. Habitat comparisons will be necessary. Surveys for species known to parasitize and prey on nests of forest and grassland birds may be considered. Magnitude of project $25,000.00 to $50,000.00.
