Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) is seeking a wall breaching capability that will provide infantry Marines with a stand-off ability to make a 24" (60.96cm) (threshold), 36" (91.44cm)(objective) diameter breach in a 12"(30.48cm) triple-thick brick (threshold), 8" (20.32cm) thick reinforced concrete (objective) wall at <450 (threshold), <600 (objective) horizontal angle to the weapon-target axis between 17 meters (threshold), 10 meters (objective), to 150m (threshold), 175m (objective) within two hits. The warhead will be demonstrated using the B-300 rocket motor currently in use by the United States Marine Corps with the intent of integrating it into the Follow-On To the Shoulder-launched Multi-purpose Assault Weapon System in a future effort. This notice is not a request for quotations, however, any firm believing itself capable of meeting the MCSC requirement may submit technical documentation to establish the potential of complying with the requirement. Such documentation must be submitted to the Contact Point within 45 days of electronic posting of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed on a sole source basis.
