Description

It is the Government's intent to issue a Firm Fixed Priced requirement for NSN:8475-01-196-0076, Cloth, Laminated Fire Resistant, Waterproof and Moisture Vapor Permeable, in accordance with MIL-C-85637A (AS), dated 05 May 1987, Amend. #1 and notice of reinstatement Notice #2, dated 18 March 1998. This acquisition will be issued on a Unrestricted basis using simplified acquisition procedures. The destinations for the subject item are Defense Depot Tracy, CA. and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. Production Leadtime is 180 days after date of award. Three Linear yards of the laminated cloth ( not separately priced ) are required for First Article Test Samples, 90 days after date of award. Acceptance testing is required for each end item production lot. Acceptance testing shall consist of examinations and test for all of the requirements cited in MIL-C-85637A (AS), Para 4.5 quality conformance inspection. AQLS shall be cited in MIL-C-85637A (AS). Closing date for request for quote is 23 March 2001 3:00PM EST. Solicitation closing date of 23 April 2001 is estimated. Include notes 9, 13, 26.
