Description

The Government has a requirement for next generation Nickel-Cadmium batteries for the H-60 aircraft. The batteries must have a one year maintenance interval. The Government requires a minimum quantity of 12 each and a maximum quantity of 390 each which will equip all known aircraft and provide adequate spares. An indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, fixed-price contract will be awarded. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate a contract on a sole source basis. Deliveries shall be made to NSWC Crane, IN on an f.o.b. destination basis. The Government intends this as a sole source procurement to Saft America of Valdosta, GA.
