Description

The NAVAIR/NAVICP Philadelphia team invite all interested parties to attend a second Industry Conference on 15 March 2001 at NAVICP Philadelphia in the NSA Auditorium, Bldg. #4 on Performanced Based Logistics (PBL) for the H-60 Seahawk Weapons System. The Conference will begin at 0830. The purpose of the meeting will be to assist the Government in determining whether adequate competition exists within the market place for competing the work set forth in the draft performance work statement (PWS) and other program elements outlined on the NAVICP web-site (http://www.navicp.navy.mil). The NAVICP web-site provides interested parties with current information and allows an open exchange between Government and Industry. The revisions to the PWS and additional documentation based on comments/questions from Industry are available and posted to the NAVICP web-site. The information provided is considered sufficient to allow potential prime offerors to make an informed decision on participation in a competitive environment. Interest currently exhibited has been extremely limited. If this proves to be the case after the second Industry Conference, it would be the Government's intent to pursue other than full and open competition at this point. Interested parties are requested to contact the Contracting Officer, NAVICP in writing, by close of business 14 March 2001 with a response that affirms their interest in submission of an offer regarding the H-60 PBL acquisition. The Government is not obligated or committed to award any contract as a result of this notice. The refined PWS is posted to the NAVICP web-site. Registration for the Conference may be made by fax to the PCO at (215) 697-1227 or by email to the H60 Solicitation (see wb-site posting) no later than 1200 on 14 March 2001.
