Description

The Government has a known requirement to purchase 200 each First Articles of Red and 200 each First Articles of Blue, a minimum of 2,795,000 each of Red, Blue and Other Color (TBD) and a maximum of 19,365,668 each of Red, 19,365,668 each of Blue and 15,000,000 each of Other Color (Yellow, Green, Orange or White) 9MM SESAMS Marking Cartridges. (NOTE: The maximum quantity includes the minimum quantity.) The cartridges shall be manufactured in accordance with Hybrid Specification for Cartridge, Subcaliber 9MM, Marking (OEMC SPEC 00021 dated January 2001) and various U.S. Army Armament Research and Development Center drawings to be included in the solicitation. This acquisition will not be restricted. All sources will be considered. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. First articles shall be delivered within 150 days after issuance of Delivery Order. The first production lot of 2,188,800 cartridges shall be delivered within 150 days after acceptance of the First Articles and the residual cartridges shall be delivered at a rate of 2,188,800 cartridges every 150 days until completion of the Delivery Order. Any subsequent delivery orders shall have deliveries due within 150 days after issuance of the delivery order at a rate of 2,188,800 each every 150 days until completion of the delivery order. The acceptance period shall be within 30 days after material is received at NSWC Crane. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the government considering technical compliance, past performance and price-related factors.
