Description

Contractor shall furnish all tools, materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to apply herbicide control and fertilization services at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Route 619, Triangle, VA 22172. The contract covers the period April 1, 2001 (or date of contract award, whichever is later) through September 30, 2001 (base period), with one 1-year option to extend the term of the contract September 30, 2002. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561730 and a size standard of $5 Million is applicable to this acquisition. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation must be in writing to Mr. James C. Jackson and accompanied by a check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($5.00) (non-refundable) made payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be mailed on or about March 13, 2001.
