Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 8(a)/Hubzone Procurement Conference scheduled for March 13, 2001 has been rescheduled for Wednesday March 28, 2001. Those concerns who have already registered do not have to register again. All other terms and conditions remain as restated below: The John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) is hosting an 8(a)/HubZone Procurement Conference on March 28, 2001. The Volpe Center is supporting a Department of Transportation initiative to reach out to the 8(a)/HubZone small business community by conducting outreach sessions with these business concerns. The purpose of this conference is to provide a forum for meeting one another, for the 8(a)/HubZone small businesses to highlight their respective capabilities, and for the Volpe Center to provide information on possible procurement opportunities. A break-out room will be made available for the purpose of exchanging information and having one-on-one discussions with Volpe Center personnel. The Conference will be held in Building 2, Room 120 of the DOT/RSPA/Volpe national Transportation Systems Center, 55 Broadway, Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA 02131 on Wednesday, March 28, 2001. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The Conference will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 12:00 p.m. The Volpe Center is looking at capabilities in the following SIC codes: 7373, 8744, 5045, 3357, 3577, 0781 and 8999 and/or the following NAICS codes: 541512, 44312, 331422, 334119, 54162 and 54169. Space is limited to the first sixty (60) people. In the interest of providing the most exposure to the most companies, attendance is limited to not more than (two) 2 representatives from each company.
