Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to procure Repair of Repairable (ROR) services for the High Power Device program, which includes the High Power Device Test Subsystem (HPDTS) and the Operational Test Program Sets (OTPSs) for the AN/APG-65, AN/AWG-9 and An/asp-137. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Systems & Electronics Inc., 201 Evans Lane, St. Louis, MO 63121-1126. Under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of the repair services because they are the sole designer and manufacturer of the HPDTS and its associated OTPSs, already purchased by the Government. The proposed Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for these services shall be for a period NTE three (3) years. All repairs will be done using original manufactured replacement parts. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the proposals. However, all responses received within thirty days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
