Description

This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-01-Q-3FAC57. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, and competence to complete the following on the USCGC BAINBRIDGE ISLAND (WPB-1343): 1. Renew After Steering Hatch. 2. Renew Through-Deck Packing Glands. 3. Replace existing OWS with new SAREX Model G22BP with BA-1 Monitor/Alarm. 4. Renew deck covering System. 5. Renew Insulation in Various Spaces. 6. Provide temporary logistics. Performance period is June 4 to 25, 2001. Place of performance is Highlands, NJ. Specifications to be provided on request. There is a non-refundable fee for drawings of $50.00 in the form of a certified check or money order payable to US Coast Guard. The government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
