Description

The Forest Service requires road maintenance (blading) on the Missoula, Ninemile, Seeley Lake, Superior, and Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger Districts, Lolo National Forest, Missoula, Powell, Mineral, Granite, and Sanders Counties, MT. Multiple awards are anticipated. Work includes furnishing and operating road graders for blading and shaping the roadbed, including shoulders and turnouts, to restore and maintain the original cross section and grade of the road, and removing ruts, washes, sloughs, and other irregularities that prevent normal runoff from the road surface. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Quotes are due April 10, 2001. The estimated start work dates range from April 16 to May 15, 2001. The performance period is 60 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The proposed project listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside.
