This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is EP1736-01. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. UNICOR, intends to enter into a 3-year ID/IQ Contract, for the following, Line Item one (1) FSE0289 Fuse Holder,C,HFB,BUSSMANN-P/N 5920012926688 or equivalent,Salient Characteristics: Fuse Accommodation Quantity 1 Current Carrying Rating in Amps 30.0 Voltage in Volts 32.0 Fuse Terminal Type Accommodated -- Ferrule Terminal type and Quantity 2 Wire Lead Wire Lead Length 2,000 Inches Nominal Contact Material Copper Body Style D6 IN-THE-Line Overall Length- 3,000 Inches Nominal Overall Diameter 0.750 Inches Nominal Accommodated Fuse Length 1.250 Inches Nominal Accommodated Ferrule Diameter 0.250 Inches Nominal Environmental Protection Watertight And Environmental Protection Vibration Proof III Terminal Material Cooper III Body Material -- Rubber Maximum quantity for life of contract 63,000 each. Evaluation of offers will be based on 40% price and price related factors and 60% past performance including ON TIME DELIVERY.
