Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Harris Corporation, RF Communications Division, for (2) each of the AN/PRC-117F Multi-band Man-pack Radio, Embedded Communications Security (COMSEC), Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Electronic Counter, Counter-Measures (ECCM) Systems. Harris Corporation is the only supplier of this radio system that incorporates all three capabilities (COMSEC, SATCOM, and ECCM) into one radio system. No Request For Proposal (RFP) is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement within 15 days of this announcement to the contact person listed above. See numbered Note 22.
