Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is USZA95-01-T-0023, and is issued as a Request For Quotation. The due date is March 15, 2001 NLT 2:00PM est. The requirement is as follows: Repair/Overhaul exit end assembly (ies), P/N: S306069-15, Qty: minimum of 15, maximum of 75. Delivery schedule: within 45 days after Contractor's receipt and analysis. The Government intends to award this acquisition sole source to SAI Industries, dba Standard Armament, Inc. (SAI), 631 Allen Avenue, Glendale, CA 91201. SAI is the manufacturer of the 30MM exit end assembly used on Special Operations aircraft, and SAI owns all proprietary rights and data. The solicitation document, provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (to be completed and submitted with offer); 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items; and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System assigned code is D0A1. The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 332994.
