Federal, State, and Local Government Procurement Agencies, Prime Contractors, Business Support Organizations, and Legislators will create the forum for this event on March 14, 2001 at the Best Western, Route 100, Exton, PA (1 mile south from Exit 23 off the PA Turnpike). Participation in this event will provide business representatives with the opportunity to meet on-on-one with numerous procurement agencies and business support organizations. It is a "must" for firms doing business with the Government or wanting to do business with the Government. This event is co-sponsored by the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry and the Procurement Technical Assistance Program of the Kutztown University Small Business Development Center. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by a breakfast buffet at 8:00 a.m. The breakfast guest speaker will be Ronald McAlear, President & CEO of the Kvaerner Philadelphia Shipyard, Inc. Mr. McAlear will speak about the lack of the local suppliers for the Shipyard and discuss how Pennsylvania businesses can become viable suppliers to this very important operation. The exhibit hall featuring government agencies and prime contractors will be open from 9:00 a.m. -- 1:00 p.m. Companies and government agencies are welcome to exhibit for FREE.
