Description

Passenger Terminal Personnel and Baggage Screening Security Service. The service ( The contractor shall provide all personnel, materials supervision and other items necessary to perform passenger terminal monitoring services except as identified herein as government furnished. Contractor has no apprehension authority and does not carry a weapon. Monitoring services include, but not limited to: screening of passengers and passenger baggage, interior/exterior vehicle and facility surveillance as required, general observation and preventive maintenance of government furnished property. The contractor will be responsible for providing the required services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all federal, state and local holidays. The contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations concerning the screening of personnel and baggage. These include but are not limited to: Federal Aviation Administration (FFA), International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and AMC instruction/ guidance. ) North American Industry Classification System assigned to this acquisition is 561612. This synopsis is for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented. The solicitation, specifications, are projected to be posted be posted at http://www1.eps.gov/, FedBizOpps (Federal Business Opportunities) on 26 Mar 01. All proposals and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal submittal, shall be in paper medium.
