Description

The proposed solicitation is for twelve different Temper Tent Frame components (End Section, NSN 8340-01-239-7003, Door Section, NSN 8340-01-238-8100, Window Section, NSN 8340-01-239-7001, Arch Assembly, NSN 8340-01-240-5854, etc.) to be manufactured in accordance with MIL-F-44251. Deliveries will be to Albany GA and Barstow CA beginning 180 days after date of award. First articles will be due 120 days after date of award. The solicitation, which will be issued to large and small businesses, will have minimum and maximum quantities for each item and will include four one year term options. Offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal (Past Performance, Manufacturing Plan, Socioeconomic Considerations, DLA Mentoring Business Agreement, JWOD). All materials will be furnished by the successful awardee. FAR Part 12 procedures will not be used. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is 7 April 2001.
