Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items or services prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written soliciation will not be issued. This soliciation is issued for Request for Quotation (RFQ No. NIA-01-AW002). The soliciation clause and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-6. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this acquistion is 3842. The NAICS code for this acquistion is 334510. NIH, National Institute on Aging, Gerontology Research Center intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to Colorado Clean Room Company to purchase two (QTY-2) Biobubble Clean Rooms with diameter of 15' x 20' complete with four diffusion heads, two on each side and a 4' x 6' air shower attached on the front; two(QTY-2) optional docking port on the front of the above unit; These equipment are needed to supply clean air and physical barrier to our transgenic breeding mice at the US Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, Building E3222, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commerical; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commerical Items. All offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commerical Items, with their offer.
