Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTE(RFQ). Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. Robins Air Force Base, GA is seeking to procure an Air Force requirement for 11EA Phaser Balancers, P/N: 177M6A. This item is used to balance helicopter rotors and C-130 propellers. NO TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE IS PROVIDED. Government required delivery is 11EA of CLIN 0001 on or before 30 Nov. 2001. Any supply item applicable to this document shall be delivered F.O.B. Origin -- Prepaid Freight. If the remittance address is different from the offeror's mailing address, provide remittance address as part of the offer. Failure to provide this information may impact payment. Packaging requirements are in accordance with AFMCFARS 5352.247-9009, Military Packaging and Marking. AFMC Form 158, Packaging Requirements, will be provided upon request. The RFQ, F09603-01-Q-72125, incorporates by reference the provisions of FAR 52.212-1 and 52.212-4 with the following addenda: FAR 52.212-1(c): Period for acceptance of offers is changed to 90 days; FAR 52.212-4(a) Inspection/Acceptance: In accordance with this paragraph, the Government reserves the right to inspect or test any supplies or services that have been tendered for acceptance. If the Government so desires to inspect, inspection/acceptance shall occur at the contractor's address or at the address specified by the contractor in the offer. Each offeror is required to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Also, applicable provisions of FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, apply. Specifically, the contractor agrees to comply with FAR 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, and 52.232-34. Also, the provisions of DFARS 252.212-7001 are applicable. Specifically, the contractor agrees to comply with DFARs 252.242-7003. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) rating of DO A1 applies. Offers are due by close of business (4:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time) 20 March 2001. Electronic procedures will be used for this effort.
