Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District intends to enter into a sole-source contract with Cooper Energy Services of St. Rose, Louisiana for the acquisition of Cooper Bessemer Corporation Reciprocating Engine spare parts. Parts are listed as follows: 1) Piston Ring Set, P/N: SD-94-KSV-9, 32 each, 2) Piston Assembly, P/N: KSV-5-A#1, 4 each, 3) Power Liner, P/N: KSV-9-3E#1, 12 each. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quote, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. SEE Note 22.
