Description

Solicitation no. 10181-1Q074 (YY) for Equipment Rental with Operators for Weed Control Services at Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge, located near Hilo, HI. This is a Commercial Item procurement per FAR Part 12. This IDIQ contract for weed control services is required at the refuge to control blackberry and gorse using spray herbicide and occasionally mechanically clearing mature patches of gorse. Contract shall be awarded for a base year starting approximately May 15, 2001 and may be renewed for an additional two option years. Equipment required will include: backpack sprayers, an all-wheel-drive tractor or small bulldozer with mounted gas-powered herbicide pump and a small bulldozer with blade-mounted rake. Evaluation for award will be based on best value to the government, including price, experience and past performance. Please review Section M of the solicitation carefully and complete the past contract information when submitting your quote. Solicitation will be issued approximately March 8, 2001 and offers will be due about one month later. See solicitation for actual dates.
