Description

1. The Virginia Army National Guard is seeking a vendor with qualified medical personnel to perform mobile medical surveillance/occupational health services for our full-time and part-time staff. The program is to provide job-related medical survellance examinations and occupational health services to personnel who are exposed to health hazards in the work environment or who are assigned to positions requiring specific standards of physical fitness. Some personnel will receive comprehensive exams; others will receive limited testing. 2. The vendor must obtain certification under a NIOSH approved program to perform Spirometric testing, as well as CAHOC certification as hearing conservationists. Additionally, all staff assigned to this project (including the phlebotomist/LPN) must have completed the required training under OSHA 1910.1030 Blood Borne Pathogen Act. Vendors Medical Director, Radiologist, Cardiologist's and Physicians are licensed to practice medicine. 3. The solicitation will be released March 20, 2001.
