- Description
- The Oklahoma National Guard has a requirement for a temporary dining facility, rations, tents, cots and associated equipment to support a temporary Army training mission. Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, supervision, supplies and items necessary to: (1) Furnish a temporary dining facility, raw subsistence, prepare meals, and supply clean-up operations at Fort Chaffee, AR and Camp Gruber, OK at Braggs, OK. Each facility shall have the capability to prepare a total of approximately 20,000-40,000 meals each for the period April 30-May 25, 2001 at Camp Gruber, OK, and May 12-May 26, 2001 at Fort Chaffee, AR. (2) Provide tents and cots for 2000 troops for the period of May 10-16, 2001 at Camp Gruber, OK. Also provide two additional tents with dining tables and chairs to seat 1000 troops each setting, for use during the period of April 30-May 25, 2001. (3) Furnish one all terrain 10,000 pound forklift for Camp Gruber, Braggs, OK for the period May 1-31, 2001 Davis Field, Muskogee, OK for the period May 11-15, 2001 and Fort Chaffee, AR for the period May 14-31 2001. Work includes, but shall not be limited to the following: provide tents, tables with chairs, cots, shower and wash up facilities, water to be used for food preparation and kitchen area, holding/collection tanks for collection of waste water, lights and electrical drops/outlets for all tentage, refrigerated/freezer storage for rations, and three 10,000 pound folklifts. The project additionally requires the contractor to position, erect, and test all required equipment and temporary facilities, complete all installations, maintain and service all equipment and facilities, disassemble and remove all equipment and facilities, plus clean up the training area upon completion of the exercise. Tents and cots used for the sleeping area must be fully operational by the date needed and capable of housing approximately 2000 Army personnel and their associated equipment. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000-$500,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to be considered by this agency. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 30, 2001 at 10:00 am. Solicitation packages shall be available on or around March 16, 2001. Only written requests will be accepted, no telephone requests.
