Description

This is a combined synposis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and following the simplified acquisition procedures (SAP)FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside 100% small business concerns. Solicitation number DASW02-01-T-0002 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation was previously issued in the CBD on January 24, 2001, which no award was made due to change specifications. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Circular 97-22. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334419 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 -- 10 each Macintosh G4 Graphics Workstations with 733MHz PowerPC G4-256K L2 cache on the chip and 1MB L3 cache processor, 2 each 512MB SDRAM DIMMs pre-installed and tested in addition to any factory installed RAM, factory or pre-installed 36GB Ultra160 SCSI hard drive with 2-channel Ultra2 SCSI card (no ATA drive), factory or vendor pre-installed 250MB Zip drive with matching factory bezel, DVD-R/CD-RW superdrive, NVIDIA GeForce 2mx graphics card, Ultra SCSI PCI card & cable adapter (in addition to the SCSI card for the 36MB Ultra160 SCSI hard drive), 3-year AppleCare Protection Plan; CLIN 0002 -- 10 each Monitor, clor, LaCie 22", blue, 20" viewable area, 0.24mm dot pitch, 2048 x 1536 @ 75MHz resolution, Diamondtron Flat Apeture Girlle, colorific hood; CLIN 0003 -- 10 each calibrator, LaCie blue eye. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination within 60 days after award. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Selection for award will be based on price and past performance. This will be a firm fixed price contract and utilizing SAP.
