- The Government intends to procure an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for maintenance/repairs, construction, and design/build projects for the Louisville District, Corps of Engineers, Louisville, KY. Minimum guarantee is $120,000.00 for the base year and $60,000.00 for each option year. Maximum contract value is $6 million per year for a base year and 4 option years for a total contract value of $30 million, including options. Individual task order limit is $1 million but task orders are estimated to range from $50,000.00 to $500,000.00 with a typical task order amount of approximately $100,000.00. Projects will be located within the Louisville District Mission Boundaries. The work can consist of but not be limited to: lock and dam repairs, building maintenance/repairs, building demolition; debris removal; structural repairs; renovations; sitework; utility replacements; pavement replacement; channel improvements; landscaping; geotechnical; surveying and mapping services; furniture (restricted to UNICOR unless a waiver is issued); and fencing. The majority of work under this contract will be for the Operations Division at Louisville Corps of Engineers but can also be for Military, Civil Works, and other programs for the Louisville District Corps of Engineers. Project design will be a small portion of the contract. It also may include incidental to the construction; testing, survey and abatement for lead based paint (LBP), asbestos containing materials (ACM), and/or underground storage tanks (UST). See Note 1. This project is 100% Small Business Set-Aside located within the geographical area serviced by the Small Business Administration Region 4 and 5. NAICS Code 234990 -- $27.5 mil. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. This is a Request for Proposal and offers will be evaluated on the following technical basis, not necessarily in the order of importance: (1) Management Proposal; (2) Experience; (3) Plans for Quality Control; and (4) Past Performance (5) Price Proposal. Solicitation DACW27-01-R-0004 will be issued on or about March 30, 2001. Proposal will be due on or about April 30, 2001, 4:30 p.m. local time. There will be no charge for this solicitation package.
