Description

his is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes/proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under the number F7344110330100. The solicitation is reserved as a small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 484210, and the small business size standard is $18.5M. Quotes/Proposals are requested for the following services: Move/Relocation of equipment, boxes, computers, furniture and miscellaneous items from Bldg 1961, First Floor to Bldg 1700, Second Floor and from Bldg 1700, Second Floor to Bldg 1961, First Floor as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) (Atch 1) Move is tentatively scheduled to occur the week of 26-30 Mar 2001. Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items, with their quote/proposal. (Atch 2) A site visit is scheduled for 9:30 AM, Tuesday 6 Mar 2001. Vendors shall meet at Bldg 50, and proceed to the various sites as a group. The following FAR clauses are incorporated and will be made a part of this RFQ and subsequent award. (See Atch 3) Wage Determination No 1995-0827, Revision 8, dated 06/27/2000 (Atch 4) is also incorporated and will be made a part of this RFQ and subsequent award. To assure timely and equitable evaluation of offers, each offeror must complete and submit a Price Quote/Proposal (Atch 5) and Past Performance Information. Award of this acquisition will be based on Best Value to the Government using price and past performance as the evaluation factors. The Government reserves the right not to award to the lowest price quote/proposal. Price will be evaluated by the total of all items added together. Past Performance will be evaluated on basis approximately equal to price considerations. Offerors will provide a list of three (3) of the most relevant services (same or similar services -- i.e., local movement of offices not household goods , commerial shipments or deliveries, etc) performed for either Federal or commercial customers within the last three years. Provide the following information for each reference applicable. Company name, address, point of contact, exact service performed, dollar amount, period of performance, phone number, fax number and E-mail address. Submitted information must reference point of contact, address, current telephone number, fax number and E-mail address if applicable. Contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award.
