Description

The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) has a requirement for Pick-up/Delivery and Storage of Cartridge Tapes. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. A fixed price and fixed price requirements type contract is anticipated encompassing a base period of twelve months with four (4) twelve month option periods. The services requested for all Option Periods are expected to remain unchanged from that of the base period. This procurement will be negotiated and awarded according to the procedures set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 15. The source selection decision will be based upon overall best value to the BEP, price and non-price factors considered. The solicitation has been issued in conjunction with the synopsis. A fourteen (14) day response time is planned. Contract award is planned for April 2, 2001. BEP is posting this announcement, as well as, the final RFQ on GSA_s Federal Business Opportunities website (formally know as EPS) at http://www.eps.gov.
