Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools and supplies needed to perform clearing and marking of surveyed boundary lines of Government property surrounding Beaver Lake and provide GPS data of monuments for download and use in ARC View computer program. The contractor is required to identify and document any trespass encroachments found on Government property as work is performed. Bidders should be aware that portions of the boundary required to be maintained under this contract have not been cut, painted, or had maintenance performed for as many as 15 to 20 years, and may require considerable cutting of growth and/or re-growth of brush, vegetation and trees as trouch line may not be visible. Solicitation will be on Compact Disk (CD-Rom)and provided free of charge. The solicitation will not be available in paper format: however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper when determined to be in the Government's best interest. All documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for submittal of offer will not be allowed. Solicitation will be made available upon registration at the Little Rock Contracting Division internet website (address below). If UNABLE to register through the internet, a written request may be sent to Contracting Division at the address above, faxed to (501) 324-5196, or email, by providing the following information: Name of Firm, Point of Contact, Mailing Address, Street Address for Parcel Delivery Service, Telephone and Fax Numbers (Including area code), E-mail Address, Level of Participation (General Contractor, Subcontractor, Supplier or Plan Room), and Large or Small Business status. Failure to provide the above information may cause a delay in receiving the CD-Rom and Amendments. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business. Solicitation will be available on or about March 23, 2001. Bid opening date will be on or about April 23, 2001, at 2:00p.m.
