Description

The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices has a requirement for logistical support services in a range of overseas locations in Central and Eastern Europe, the Former Soviet Union, Africa, Asia, Latin America and other areas for Treasury_s long-term and short-term advisors and visiting U.S. Government officials. The logistical support services will include locally-hired staffing services, freight forwarding services, and other logistical support, including provision of housing, computer equipment, office support, and conference facilitation and coordination. Treasury expects to make an award or multi awards for this requirement no later than September 2001. In support of this requirement, the Department of the Treasury is seeking comments on the draft Statement of Work (SOW) for logistical support services. The comments should address concerns such as: 1) the type of contract(s) which would prove most beneficial in providing required logistical support services; 2) issues relating to provision of logistical support as set forth in the SOW and any recommended changes; and 3) the most cost effective plan for procuring logistical support services.
