- Description
- The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures Test Program for Commercial items set forth in FAR Subpart 13.5 intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Produce Studies Research. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The EPA is FACNET certified. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541710. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ number is RFQ-DC-01-00136. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. This requirement has not been set-aside for small businesses. Description: SIGMA 1999 Harvest Years Program in one electronic and one hard copy. The studies and data bases should provide current data for pesticides on minor usage sites from foreign countries. The database shall contain accurate current (1999) usage data for 31 countries including the following: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Columbia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, South-Africa, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA. Delivery shall take place no later than 04/02/01. Quote shall be provided FOB Destination in US currency. Delivery address shall be US EPA, 1200 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Mail Code 7503C, Washington, DC 20460. Project Officer information will be provided at time of award. The provisions at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, at 52.212-4 Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its offer.
