Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to award a sole-source contract to Motorola, Inc. The proposed acquisition will cover engineering and developing of eight fieldable prototype Multi-functional Cryptographic Systems (MCS) to the Government to support the SEAWOLF and VIRGINIA Class submarine cryptographic requirements. The period of this performance will be from June 2001 through December 2003. This request is considered to be sole source to Motorola Inc., therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement.
