Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, 6801 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22310-3398 has a requirement for "All Our Tomorrows: A Long Range Forecast of Global Trends Affecting Arms Control Technology". The proposed purchase orders are for services which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only (3) sources who are: Center for Security Policy, Science Applications International Corporation, and Global Horizons under authority of FAR 6.302. There will not be a solicitation. The objective of this series of independent studies is to identify a broad range of interdisciplinary global trends, and the resulting technology issues, affecting the arms control environmment in the year 2015. These independent studies, conducted by separate entities and addressing separate aspects of the evolving global arms control environment to the year 2015, will facilitate long-term arms control verification, compliance and monitoring technology requirements identification, prioritization, and programmatic planning.
