Description
Furnish all personnel, equipment and materials required to deliver and install seventeen (17) 69-kV disconnect switches without grounding blades at the Table Rock substation located in Taney County, Branson, Missouri. Furnish, deliver, and install nine (9) 69- kV disconnect switches without grounding blades at the Norfork, Arkansas Substation located in Baxter County, Arkansas. Furnish and install jumpers, bus fittings, and bus height adapters as required for switches installed at both stations. Upgrade the 69-kV bus to 795 MCM ACSR (Drake) including insulators and hardware at Norfork Substation only. Remove and dispose of existing designated switches. The estimated magnitude of this proposed acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. The completion date is June 1, 2002. A presolicitation notice has been sent to all prospective contractors on Southwestern's mailing list. The solicitation package will be furnished only upon written request and receipt of payment of a $15.00 non-refundable check for a hard copy of the solicitation with "11" x "17" drawings. The cost for drawings alone will be the same as for the hard copy with drawings at $15.00. Checks, money orders or cashier's checks shall be payable to "Southwestern Power Administration." This proposed acquisition is restricted. See numbered Note 1. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. The written request must state the solicitation number, title of project, firm name, street address, mailing address, telephone number and facsimile number. When issued, the solicitation excluding drawings will be available on the Internet at the address http://www.swpa.gov under the icons "Acquisitions" and "Solicitations for Contracts." All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by Southwestern.
