Description

Provide all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to construct a Crew and Sailing Center at the US Military Academy, West Point, NY. The building is approximately 15,000 sg. ft. and will consist of two main sections. The section to the north will be a one-story structure housing 4 rowing tanks, accomodating 2-8 station rowing configurations. The roof of this section will be flat and will be used partially as a viewing terrace. The section to the south will have areas for a sailboat and shell repair shop and storage on the first floor with areas for training, a locker room, showers, toilet rooms, clothes dryer rooms, a staff office and kitchenette on the second floor. A center area will join the two sections with a lobby, stairs, elevator and telecommunication/electrical, and mechanical rooms. Due to the soft nature on the site, shallow foundations are not recommended. The NAICS is 233320 with size standard of $27.5 million. The estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED.
