Description

This is an acquisition for frozen potatoes as follows: French Fries, Straight-cut strips approx. 6 million lb; French Fries, crinkle-cut, approx 3.5 million lb.; Frozen Diced Potatoes approx. 700,000 lb and Hash Browns, approx. 2.5 million lb. Delivery will be to existing Prime Vendor locations throughout the US. Contract period is one year, with four available option years. Best Value procedures will be utilized. After receipt of initial proposals, and establishment of the competitive range, the Contracting Officer intends to conduct a competitive, anonymous on-line reverse auction which will be described in the solicitation. Submission of a proposal in response to the solicitation will be considered consent by the offeror to participate in the Competitive Bidding Event (CBE)and to reveal their prices in anonymity during the CBE. This solicitation is Unrestricted.
