Description

The Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office (CTTSO) Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects. The mission areas are: Physical Security (PS), Explosives Detection and Defeat (ED&D), Infrastructure Protection (IP), Personnel Protection (PP), and Tactical Operations Support (TOS). The Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) package itself will be available only from the following website: www.bids.tswg.gov. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those offerors capable of satisfying the Government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, HBCU/MI's, foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in three phases for PS, ED&D, PP, and TOS as fully described in the BAA package available from the web site. A two-phase approach will be used for IP. The package describes the full process for the concept submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas. Potential offerors are encouraged to download the BAA package from the web site as of the published date of this synopsis.
