Description

The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to procure commercial software licenses/upgrades on a sole source basis from Evans & Sutherland. The procurement includes the following: Annual RapidScene Software maintenance and upgrade, Annual EaSIEST/RapidScene Modeling Software Support Service, and Annual ESIG4000 Hardware Maintenance Support. The period of performance will be from 01 April 01 to 31 March 02. Authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1. Firms that recognize they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is based on information provided and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Only written responses will be considered.
