Description

The purpose of this announcement is to re-open the solicitation on an un-restricted basis. The previous small business set-aside has been dissolved. Also, a revised list of requirements & specifications will be provided with the solicitation. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to acquire through full and open competition one Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectrometer and Microscope System. The system will consist of a Fourier-transform spectrometer (including sample accessories and associated software), an infrared microscope with ATR capabilities, and a computer controller. Delivery to NUWC Newport will be required. The NAICS CODE IS 334515. Commercial procedures per FAR Part 12 will be used. Offers that were submitted under the previous announcement and solicitation closing will be considered for award. However, those vendors may submit a revised or new offer prior to the new solicitation closing if necessary. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
