- Description
- The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This request for quotation (RFQ) -- F08650 01T0379 is for a commercial firm fixed-price (non-personal service) contract. The supplies and services include, but are not limited to provide all equipment, services, tools, personnel, training, and supervision to remove and replace six (6) dock levelers at the Commissary at Patrick AFB, Florida. The contractor shall provide the Kelley Auto Dock Actionator Levelor Model H1 Hydraulic Pit Leveler 6 x 8, 45,000lb capacity or equivalent. The period of performance including receipt of materials and installation is: thirty (30) days after receipt of order. This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Code is: 3599. The NAICS is: 333999. The size standard is 500 employees. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quoter. Technical acceptability will be determined by information submitted by the quoter providing a description in sufficient detail to show that the product quoted meets the Government's requirement. It is critical that offerors provide adequate detail to allow evaluation of their offer (see FAR 52.212-1(b). It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. All questions concerning this RFQ must be submitted in writing on or before 16 Mar 01. Commercial item provisions and clauses in accordance with FAR Part 12 are applicable to this requirement.
