Description

DESC: This announcement serves as your advanced notice. Be sure to register, as instructed herein, to obtain the project and any amendments. The work covered by this specification consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials necessary to fabricate and deliver 18 Emergency Gate Cable Slot Protectors (Slot Protectors) to Markland Locks and Dam, KY. The Slot Protectors will be fabricated from structural steel with all joints and connections being welded. The Slot Protectors shall then have a vinyl paint applied to all surfaces. The Slot Protectors are approximately 10' wide x 12' high x 1' deep. Delivery shall be FOB Destination, to Markland Lock & Dam on the Ohio river at Mile 531.5 below Pittsburg, PA Markland Lock & Dam address is R.R. 2 Box 25, Warsaw, KY 41095-9999. DELIVERY shall be NLT 12 weeks after award. THIS ACQUISTION IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS. The NAIC code is 332312, and the samll business size standard is 500 employees. The issue date for this solicitation is on or about March 14, 2001, THIS PROJCECT WILL BE AVAILABLE BY DOWNLOADING FROM THE INTERNET ONLY. The project specifications files are portable Document Format Files (PDF) and can be viewed navigated or printed using Acrobat Adobe Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are 486 based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater and 8-MB application RAM.
