Description

The Regional Contracting Office -- Seckenheim in Germany intends to competitively award a Firm-Fixed Price contract with Time and Material features to provide Base Maintenance Contract (BMC) services to the US Army in support of the 6th Area Support Group's Stuttgart mission. Hard copies of Solicitation #DAJA02-01-R-0005 will be available around April 17, 2001. The same solicitation shall be available for downloading from the RCO Seckenheim's web site. Commercial sources are invited to submit technical and price proposals for the repair and maintenance of around 2,000 apartment units and houses. The required services include work reception and facilities management services, building systems inspection and maintenance, roads and grounds maintenance, utilities operation and maintenance, facilities repair and special operations, Army Family housing maintenance and services, change of occupancy services, alteration and minor construction and other public works services. The solicitation will contain DFARS 252.222.7002, Compliance with Local Labor Laws and DFARS 252.225-7042, Authorization to Perform. Performance period will be for one (1) base year and four (4) option years to start on December 1, 2001. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for May 2 and 3, 2001 in Stuttgart, Germany.
