Description

The project entails construction of a temporary stoplog-type system to raise the crest of Kickapoo Dam approximately 2.0 feet. The work to be performed includes: (a) Constructing two small reinforced concrete end walls; (b) Furnishing and installing steel upright supports for the stoplog supports; and (c) Furnishing and installing treated timber stoplogs including seals. Kickapoo Dam is located approximately 6 miles west of Horton, Kansas in Brown County on the Kickapoo Indian Reservation. The due date for the Request for Quotations (RFQ) is tentatively scheduled for March 26, 2001. All reasonable sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industry Classification System code is 23493. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 1629. The small business size standard is $17.0 million. To receive a copy of the RFQ, contractors shall fax a request to (406) 247-7798. The fax must include contractors name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification and Duns numbers.
